Delete Your Scan All Data
LAST UPDATED: SEPTEMBER 2026
Your scan history stays on your phone — and you can erase it in one tap.
Scan All does not maintain accounts, remote databases, or cloud profile backups. Everything is stored strictly inside Android's encrypted SharedPreferences sandbox on your device. You can purge your entire history instantly without submitting deletion requests or waiting for support.
1. Complete Data Sovereignty
Unlike online barcode scanning apps that transmit your scanned items to remote advertising servers, Scan All operates under a 100% offline-first architecture. PMC Labs maintains zero copies of your scan logs, generated QR codes, or preferences.
Because no server-side user accounts or data vaults exist, you do not need to submit account deletion tickets. Deleting your data happens directly, instantly, and completely on your physical phone.
2. In-App One-Tap History Wipe
To wipe all scan history directly within the Scan All application:
- Open Scan All on your Android phone.
- Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll to the Storage & Vault section.
- Tap “Clear all history”.
- Confirm the prompt. All stored barcode logs, timestamps, and cached records are immediately erased from the local database.
Tip: You can also swipe away or delete individual scan records from the History screen without clearing your entire log.
3. Clear via Android System Settings
You can also purge all app records through Android's native application manager:
- Open your smartphone's Settings → Apps → Manage Apps.
- Select Scan All from the list.
- Tap Storage → Clear Data (and Clear Cache).
- All local SharedPreferences files and cache directories are instantly erased by the Android operating system.
4. Removing Exported QR Image Files
If you have used the QR Code Generator to save visual PNG images to your gallery:
- Open your phone's native Gallery or Files app.
- Navigate to the Pictures → Scan All album folder.
- Select and delete any exported QR code images you no longer wish to retain.
5. Uninstalling the Application
Uninstalling Scan All permanently deletes the private internal sandbox partition allocated to the app by Android. Once uninstalled, all local history, favorites, and preferences are permanently and unrecoverably destroyed.
