Educator responsibilities & terms overview.

By downloading, installing, or using TeacherDesk, you agree to these Terms of Service. TeacherDesk provides offline classroom management utilities for educators. All class records remain under your physical custody on your device.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TeacherDesk (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the application.

2. Description of Service

TeacherDesk is an educational mobile application designed to assist educators in managing student attendance, organizing rosters, calculating weighted grades, configuring desk seating arrangements, and storing lesson materials. All core operational databases function offline on the educator's physical mobile hardware.

3. User Accounts & MPIN Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your access credentials, including your 6-digit MPIN and biometric authentication settings. You agree to notify us immediately of any suspected compromise. You must be at least 18 years of age or an authorized educator to establish an educator workspace within the App.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use TeacherDesk exclusively for lawful educational purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unauthorized, fraudulent, or illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or disassemble the App's binaries.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the normal execution of the App or related device subsystems.
  • Distribute malicious files, tampered rosters, or corrupt backup packages.
  • Violate applicable student privacy regulations (such as FERPA or local data privacy statutes).

TeacherDesk is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While engineered for high stability and offline resilience, we do not warrant that operation will be entirely error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PMC Labs or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App, including unbacked data loss caused by hardware malfunction or uninstallation.
